Cat Clinic Northampton
Our Cat Clinic at Spinney Vets in Wootton Fields, Northampton, are proud to have been awarded a Silver Level Cat-Friendly Clinic. We are similarly proud to be members of the ISFM, the International Society of Feline Medicine.
We understand that cats are sensitive creatures that are extremely aware of their environment. It is, therefore, important for us to demonstrate our dedication and commitment to ensuring the comfort and care of the cats under our care. We have improved our cat clinic by working alongside ICC, or International Car Care, and have made our space the best for feline patients as possible!
What Does our Accreditation Mean for Our Cat Clinic?
We have had to meet the criteria carefully selected by ICC to receive our Silver Cat-Friendly Clinic accreditation. Our team has demonstrated:
- An understanding of the needs of your cats.
- How to approach and handle cats gently and with care- alongside regular staff education.
- How to follow ISFM Feline Friendly Handling & Nursing Care guidelines set to ensure we are ‘Scruff-free’ in our work.
- An investment in equipment to aid the specific care requirements of cats.
- Our pledge to keep an appointed Cat Clinic Advocate member of Staff to implement and oversee our status as a Cat-friendly clinic.
